Meet Our Assistant Principal
About Mr. Fang:
I am writing to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at Hoover Community School. I am excited to join the Hoover community and work with such a dedicated and talented group of students, staff, and families.
I grew up in Fresno, CA, and have lived in the bay area for about 8 years. I graduated from CSU, Fresno with my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and from CSU, East Bay with my Master of Science in Educational Leadership. I have worked in education for about 18 years and taught for 13 years of those
years, and I have had the pleasure of leading after-school programs and teaching elementary, middle school, and high school students. I have also held many leadership roles, including being a department chair, grade level lead teacher, coordinator for the Coordination of Services Team (COST) and the
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) committee, and a teacher mentor for new teachers.
I am passionate about creating a positive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive and have a voice. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I am committed to providing them with the resources and support they need to reach their full potential. I am also
committed to working with families to ensure that we are all working together to support our students' success. I believe that strong partnerships between families and schools are essential for student success. In my personal time, I love trying new foods and restaurants. I enjoy spending time with my family and taking my dog, Blitz, on road trips and outdoor adventures. I have been skydiving, ziplining, white water rafting, and more. I am always looking for my next adventure and experience.
I am looking forward to meeting you all and getting to know the Hoover community. I am excited to work with you to create a school where all students can learn and grow.
