Meet Our Assistant Principal

About Mr. Gomez

Hello Hoover Huskies! I am very excited to be part of the Hoover Community and looking forward to a great school year. I look forward to partnering with all Hoover staff in providing all students and families with a welcoming, safe, and enriching educational experience. I graduated from UC Davis with a B.A. and B.S. degree in Psychology and Human Development. I also completed my Masters degree and PPS credential from Sacramento State University. I have spent the last 15 years working in education in various roles including a behavior specialist, school psychologist, and district-level coordinator. Through my experiences, I have developed a passion for creating an inclusive environment for diverse learners. 

I believe in on-going communication and like to have an open-door policy. Please call or email me if you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to meet in person. 

On a personal note, spending time with my family, trying new restaurants, going on walks with my dog, and attending Giants games!
